In the heart of Sierra Leone, where challenges are met with resilience and hope, our non-profit, The 89s, stands as a beacon of support and transformation. At the center of our mission is Roda, whose dedication to community upliftment goes beyond mere charity.

Roda and his team are not just supporters; they are architects of change. They have forged deep connections with local schools, providing essential resources like teaching materials, uniforms, and sporting equipment. In a country where educational resources are often scarce due to internal strife, Roda ensures that every child has access to current, age-appropriate textbooks in their primary language.

But the impact of Roda and his team reaches far beyond the classroom. Through their strong rapport with the community, they serve as positive role models, sharing the teachings of the Bible and the message of Jesus, nurturing both spiritual and personal growth. Their commitment extends to empowering local residents with vocational training opportunities in fields such as agriculture, construction, tailoring, welding, and carpentry. These programs provide practical skills and foster economic independence.

Looking ahead, Roda and his team envision a vocational training center on their land in front of their church, where dreams will be nurtured, and skills honed. We are incredibly excited & honored to help them in this endeavor to see this vision come to life.

In the vibrant communities of Bo, Kenema, and Freetown, our combined efforts weave together the threads of education, faith, and opportunity. Together, we are not just making a difference; we are changing lives and shaping futures.
